Dictation

  • New folders
    Three folders are available to file and organize your dictations: draft, finished and sent. Dictations are listed by date including file size, length and name.

    The application is available in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Danish and Russian. Additional languages can be added at any time.

Recording

  • Four recording qualities
    All optimized for Speech Recognition: 8 kHz, 10.025 kHz, 22.05 kHz and 44.1 kHz (broadcast CD quality).
  • Voice Activation for hands-free dictation
    The recording starts as soon as the App is launched. The input level can be adjusted and saved.
  • Bluetooth™ headset support
    Dictate using your paired Bluetooth headset. This feature is especially useful for iPad dictation but also for handsfree dictation with Voice Activation.
  • File Size Control
    The “auto stop function” stops the recording when the configured size is reached in order not to exceed the maximum file size of the receiving mailbox.
  • Easy to use
    All functionalities you already know from your traditional recording device like record, playback, pause, stop, rewind, fast-forward, reviewing, overwrite and insert are available and easy to use.

Data Transfers

Many data transfer protocols are supported such as: GPRS, EDGE, UMTS, HSUPA, UHSDPA, UMTS, HSUPA and WLAN (public & private).

  • FTP and SFTP: several FTP server addresses can be saved.
  • E-mail as encrypted attachment. Multiple e-mail addresses can be preconfigured.
  • Compression done by transfer without quality loss (e.g. 8 kHz /1 min = 98 Kb). The original quality file remains on the phone.
  • Secure password protection with 256 bits.

Barcode Reader

Simply scan your barcode with the integrated camera and the barcode is automatically assigned to the opened dictation.

Standard supported barcodes: EAN-13, UPC-A, UPC-E, EAN-8, Code 128, Code 39, Interleaved 2 of 5, PDF-417, QR Code.
